Private
Lessons
Private Lessons are one-on-one appointments with the instructor of your
choice. The lesson is designed to introduce the work to newcomers, for
ongoing personal work, advance your personal work, or have a home program
designed. Private lessons are 55 minutes in length.
Equipment
Group Lessons
Equipment Group Lessons are groups of 5 participants conducted on the
Pilates Reformer and adjunct equipment. Each class is taught to any level
of student using modifications and challenge work to the choreography
of the class. PILATES albuquerque offers equipment group lessons in traditional
and physiologically evolved forms. Both forms are equally effective.

Combo Classes
The method of Pilates is most effective when the mat and the equipment
are used in conjunction with one another. This class incorporates both
mat and equipment. Each class will be strategically formatted to teach
each student proper alignment, balance and core stability for the effect
that Joseph Pilates originally intended.

Formatted to follow the effective exercises derived by Joseph Pilates.
This work is effective for straightening the core system of the body,
finding flexibility through length of the musculoskeletal system.
GYROKINESIS®
This method of rhythmic “spinal yoga” incorporates movements
of arching, curling, bending, twisting and spiraling of the spine. Corresponding
breath patterns help to stimulate the nervous system, open up the energy
pathways and oxygenate the blood. Techniques are used to invigorate and
re-educate the body to move with fluidity, relaxation and power.
